We all were lending our support in an effort to create a permanent home for the TOY MUSEUM of New York in Southampton. My friend Zoya Bograd of Bograd Kids honored the event by designed an amazing children's room, in the window of Ann Madonia's Antique shop on jobs lane. Zoya Bograd included her private Needlepoint Art Bear Collection, as part of her display and we greatly appreciated Alex Littlefield's article, praising our work and I quote: "I loved the Needlepoint set depicting Goldilocks and the Three Bears".SUSAN G. KOMEN NYC - AWARDS LUNCHEON - MAY 13, 2009 We are pleased to announce, that the Staff of the Greater NYC affiliate of THE SUSAN G. KOMEN FOUDATION thanked Needlepoint Art Decor, Inc. for donating three hand stitched and framed needlepoint bras to the seventh annual Komen Greater NYC Awards Luncheon for the silent auction. They really loved them The development Associate, Regina Lizik, was so pleased with our donation and the funds raised she said, " Apparently, the bras were very successful at the event and there was a bit of a bidding war for them". We hope to participate again in The City in Pink Event and contribute to "Support Research". |
